RICE CEREAL

We tried rice cereal the night after our 4th month doc appt.

She took to eating out of a spoon like a champ! Kinley even screamed at Aunt Sissy when she thought the food was not being delivered fast enough.

What a life

Eating rice cereal can be exhausting...
And it can also be quite delicious and exciting!
TALKING

I have a lot to sayCHEWING AND DROOLING

And my latest addiction is drooling while chewing on my fingers. We are experimenting with chew toys, but I prefer fingers or my entire fist, sometimes even two fists.

Im a big girl now!

My mom and I caught Kinley in the act... she gets distracted by her thumb about half way, but eventually she makes it over :)

One Month

I am going to copy my friend Rhonda from now on for these monthly updates... she lists all the things her little boy Harris is doing at that month. So here we go...

- Kinley wears size 1-2 diapers
-She sleeps an average of 10 hours at night!
- eating between 4 and 6 oz for feedings with random super hungry times of up to 8 oz!!!
-we just started adding formula to the other milk
-she loves the swing and the bouncy seat, but is not quite tall enough for the bouncy-exersaucer (sp?)
-wearing 3month clothes
-has not lost any hair... except for the patch on the back of her head

My name is Kinley, and I am a thumbsucker

We have gone from occasional thumbsucker to full on hands in the mouth little lady! She will spit out the pacifier and go for the thumb most of the time. The good thing about it is that she is beginning to soothe herself. I am not having to go back into her room to give her the pacifier when she wakes in the middle of a nap... she just finds the thumb and she is good to go! This is what I find on mornings that she sleeps late.

Hotel, Snow and Family

My sweet Grandaddy passed away so we went up to Arlington last weekend for his funeral.

I know there are a lot of Grammies out there, but this one is the best!

This is Kinley's Pop and it is ridiculous that every time he talks to her she smiles! Every time, with out fail.

It is March right? Late March??? Cause it was snowing that night in Arlington! You cant see us very well but look at that snow! This was Kinley's first night in a hotel.. and you can tell we had a good time! She was all smiles.
