I cant believe this little lady! She just picked up the phone and did this on her own.

Halloween

When Halloween rolled around I was planning out our evening. First, we will go to my parents house and trick or treat at thier door, then we will go visit cousin Beverly and her brand new baby, and then trick or treat at Kinley's Great Grandparents house, etc. And Brandon hit me with "Are you sure you dont want to just stay home and hang out." Um, Hello! NO, it is Kinley's first Halloween! He responded with "Kinley's Halloween or yours?" (very nicely, I might add, there was no attitude in his voice.) I said, well actually mine. I only get Kinley's first Halloween once ya know. And then we went about the rest of the evening :)

We also went to see our new baby cousin Evelyn. First Halloween with cousins!

Great Grandaddy and Granny Pace were happy to have a suprise trick-or-treater. Grandaddy was working outside, but stopped for a quick game of Peek-a-boo.This is the moment that Granny opened the door and had not noticed Kinley yet! I love this picture!!!
Kinley Trick or Treated at Grammy and Pop's house too. She chose a tootsie pop and got to suck on it, or really drool on it for about 30 seconds. She thought that was Heaven!

For My Very First Time

Our church has a super cute fall festival every year, and we had a wonderful time toting around Super Woman/Baby/Girl. Although she is not quite able to fly, or walk for that matter... she was very good at being pushed in the stroller and held. Getting ready for the festival.Family's First Fall Festival

Pigtails, if you could call them that... are my favorite new things! I think they make her look even more adorable.

Lovin Uncle Brian

Kinley has had both of her bottom teeth for a while. They came in on the same day around 6 months old. Which led me to believe that teeth come in symetrically in the mouth. Sounds logical right? Well my baby has chosen to do things her own way... the first of many I am sure.
Last Monday, her top right tooth came in. She was still slobbery and a little fussy so I figured here comes the other top tooth... no tooth

... no tooth... Then I saw it. The tooth just to the right of the top right tooth! O my, she has become a snaggletooth! It is so funny looking. She is still super drooly (as you can tell from the last post) so surely the teeth will even out soon enough. Here they are, the teeth in all their glory:

This is what happens when Mom leaves me and Dad to get ready by ourselves. You can't tell but I have pink buttons on my shorts... one of which is missing. My shorts and shirt clash... to say the least. And I have Wolverine hair from last night's pigtails! A little boy even said "look at her hair" when Dad dropped me off at Norma's this morning. Oh my!!

Decisions Decisions

The Stinker Face

This is my "I am so cute, aren't you proud of me face?" Kinley is now officially a crawler. I cannot hold her off any longer! Since she started going to - I cant call it daycare, so I call it Norma's - during the day, she has become a super busy lady. She crawls VERY quickly and stands up every chance she can get.

We upgraded her to bathing in the adult bathtub and she loves it! She is eating snacks and sippin the sippy cup. She stands up and lets go of the furniture, like she is perfectly capable of standing on her own - which she is totally NOT capable of! She has the attention span of a fly... Poor Brandon is such a good daddy. He reads to her and all she does is climp all over him. One of my favorite sites I must say.

This past week was very hard on our family. For some reason going back to work last week for inservice was not that hard on me. Leaving Kinley seemed perfectly ok, she loves it there! She loves playing she loves all the attention that the other kids give her (she is the only baby.) To her, the other kids come to pay her attention. It is heaven!

But, this week was very hard. I didnt want to leave her, I missed her every day. And although I know that she is still having the time of her life there, I cant help but be sad that she is not with me.

It is a good thing that I LOVE my job, cause otherwise, I would try really hard to convice Brandon that I would never buy new clothes, he could get rid of my car and I would do anything else to be able to stay home.
But, right now I know that I am where the Lord needs me to be. I adore my students this year. The schedule is tough, but I have fabulous classes, especially my PALs class. They are wonderful!

And its a good thing I have such a great husband or I wouldnt have made it through the week. He cooked dinner every night and put in more of his share of parenting duties. All in all, its been good.

Week at the Lake

SEVEN MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!

Here I am, bug bites and all!

Kinley has had a very productive month this last month. Sad to say I was off for summer and never posted a 6 month official photo. I guess I was just being to busy doing nothing.

As you can tell we have a very busy little baby on our hands. She started pulling up in July and now she is obsessed! Who needs toys when you can stand up??? She has only truely bumped her head once, so I am proud to say she is quite balanced.

She weighs 17 lbs
Wears size 3 diapers
Still doesnt wear shoes, the childs feet are too skinny!

She can't wait to crawl!

Summer Time!!!

Swim time at Grammy's house! We go swimming at least once a week at my parents house, we both love it! My cousin Katie and her son Logan come with us too. Here Logan is giving Kinley kisses and she is being grumpy cause it is time for a nap.

Kinley's faborite thing to do other than swim is play in her exer-saucer. She knows how to work the camera !

Five months! Oh my.

I weigh 16 lbs
I wear size 2 diapers

Whats been going on:

I am VERY into grabbing things. Remotes, glasses, cheeks, anything that come within my reach. Like this camera... I would like to have it please! (She didnt look this scary in real life.)
I have lost most of my baby hair, but new stuff is growing in

Now I am losing the hair that stayed around when the other stuff fell out. The ring of hair that made me look like an old man : /
I LOVE other babies.
I like to eat! A lot, any thing you feed me, I will eat. And I take my bottles very seriously. No distractions please

Everything goes in the mouth. Everything.

I love my Daddy, he always makes me smile. * notice the towel in the mouth I think Uncle Kyle and Pop are really funny, or funny looking (I am not sure which yet)

Lots of clothes fit me... some 3 month clothes still fit and I have out grown some 6 month clothes. Depends on the maker. FYI Ralph Lauren thinks babies should have skinny thighs and I DO NOT
I still spit up WAY more than Mommy would like, but that is just who I am I suppose.
