Oh my the pleasures of motherhood are abundant. Kinley is growing and growing! Our friend Genevieve gave us a wonderful outfit with little birds on it... it was one of three outfits that fit our little one when we brought her home. And it still swallowed her- as it does in this picture. Now it is tight and her arms are stuffed into it. It is very sad. This is Kinley slumpily sleeping on the couch. No I didnt leave her like this alone, I was right there with her.

Brandon is the most wonderful
dad. This is him burping our little lady, she loves to ball up. Her arms and legs are so strong that it is almost impossible to stretch them out so you can burp her.

We have even gotten 3 nights of 7 or more hours in a row!!! My wonderful cousin let me borrow a book, "The Baby Whisperer" to which I give credit for our wonderful nights! We feed at two hour intervals before bed and I dont let her nap for more than an hour and a half at a time. Following the routine of Eat, Awake, Asleep. I am not a crazy schedule person, but it a good routine to follow loosely. Weekends get a little messed up, but it all seems to work well!

My Grandmother made these sweet onesies with lace and hand tied decorative knots along the back... Kinley is rotten! She and Dad like to rest / nap on the couch together. Look at those sweet lips!
She will sleep through almost anything. Except when it is time for bed, then she wakes at every small movement or noise!
Can you tell the bird outfit is my favorite?
